Due to its small size, effective counter-blasting abilities, and excellent sound effects, this weapon is ideal for anyone to wield (for those who know how to use it). It may even inspire you to take up fencing lessons.

9. Vehicles & Starfighters
Just the thought of owning a small, personal spaceship to roam the galaxy with is remarkable. Coming from small sizes such as the X-Wing fighter, all the way to giant space stations such as the Death Star, Star Wars vehicles give us a glimpse of what may be possible in the future, as scientists discover new laws of nature and technology every day.

8. Video games it spawned
After the success of the movies, Lucas Films expanded into the video game industry with Lucas Arts. While some games were flops, some truly memorable games were released, such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) and Star Wars: Battlefront, both of which have produced sequels.

7. Various planets
Star Wars takes its viewers on a magical journey across many beautiful landscapes, ranging from the desert planet Tatooine, to the Ice Planet Hoth, all the way to the Galactic Core Planet Metropolis of Coruscant.

6. Emperor Palpatine
Palpatine was a cunning politician and Sith Lord who rose to power primarily by himself and achieved total dictatorship over the Star Wars Galaxy. A few conspiracy web sites have even compared his rise to power to the likes of the current governments of the world and the theories of the New World Order.

5. Force powers
Star Wars introduced its fans to the awesome concept of manipulating the force and learning new Force Powers. How many times have you wished you had the Jedi Mind Trick Power to influence people’s thoughts, or better yet, having Force Lightning shooting out of your hands at your enemies.

4. Droids
Having the ability to communicate with Robots and actually forming connections with them can be inspiring. Two of the best droids in my opinion are the fan-favorite R2-D2 and the Assassin droid HK-47, whose quick comments and condescending attitude toward life give impressive thoughts to owning a droid.

3. Music
Thanks to an excellent score by composer John Williams, we have received musical masterpieces such as the Imperial March, Duel of the Fates, and Battle of the Heroes, not to mention the title theme of the Star Wars Saga.

2. Force concept
The impression of the Force gives us a new perspective to look at the universe. Similar to philosophical dualism, Lucas gives us the light side and the dark side of the force, which represent opposing forces of nature, good and evil.

Let’s face it, without George Lucas, Star Wars and all the great stuff that comes with it would not have been possible.
